who we are

Our mission is to honor our tradition of Hawaiian lei-making while nurturing a regenerative and reciprocal relationship to ʻaina.

We are generational lei makers dedicated to sharing cultural knowledge, traditions, and our passion for all things lei.

Sustainability

Our commitment to sustainability extends beyond the products we create—it's woven into every part of our process, from the ethical sourcing of natural elements to our efforts in reducing waste and minimizing our environmental impact.

Materials we use in our custom lei and workshops are exclusively made with hawaiʻi-grown plant materials. We love to support local growers when sourcing fresh cut florals for our designs.

Since 2020, weʻve planting and maintaining our home gardens to help sustain majority of our material supply.

CRAFT

Historically, evidence of Lei-making can be found from ancient civilizations like the Byzantine Empire. The use of the needle and thread to sew flowers can be traced back to origins in India, where they also craft floral and natural garlands. Lei has always been how we as humans honor and celebrate the gods and each other.

What makes Hawaiian lei unique is our use of plants native to hawaii and the significance each material embodies.

Community

We are proud to partner with businesses and organizations to host gatherings and workshops as a way to promote healthy connection. We are especially thankful for organizations who sponsor Free seasonal workshops for the public throughout the year.

By blending tradition with sustainability, we aim to celebrate the beauty of nature and contribute to the well-being of the planet for generations to come.

Mahalo for your support!
